AY POPS, CHOOSE ANY COLOR... JUST CHOOSE

”

This entire project was done as time went on.

I went to New York with my dad not thinking about doing anything else but walk, shop, and eat. Right when we got to the hotel from the airport, we went straight to Time's Square since it was right around the corner. I looked around and noticed just how diverse the crowds really were and how much they stand out alongside the neon lights and huge electronic billboards. At that moment, I looked to my pops and said, "Ay pops, choose any color... just choose." He looked at me with thought and just said, "uh lets make it kinda hard... pink." From then on, I just took pictures of everyone wearing pink. Then the next day, we chose yellow... then orange, then blue, then red, then green. As the last two days started coming up, I decided to get freaky and introduce polka dots and animal prints. This trip really tested my eyes when it came to timing and lighting. There is around 40-50 good pictures I missed just because I had my settings in my camera set for the outside and not the subway. This whole project taught me that sometimes, it's nice to not be structured.
